Singapore, ArtScience Museum

  • We live in an Ocean of Air: This was a multisensory exhibition representing California’s Sequoia National Park. The exhibition was conducted last year, and several equipment such as 3D stereo sound, machines to immerse visitors in the forest, and a scent dispersal system.

Dubai, Museum of Future

  • Spread out over seven floors, a metal-based flying penguin that is a digital representation of plant and animal species, a library of 4,500 animal DNA codes to gather on smart devices.
  • A veritable family of robots, including an AI-powered humanoid robot named Ameca and a bot barista named Bob, can also be found at the museum. 
  • The newest addition this year is an enormous robotic dog that roams the lobby and engages with guests. It was created by the US tech company Boston Dynamics.

  • The goal of the Seoul Robot and AI Museum is to advance innovation, science, and technology in society.
  • Naturally, there will be robots on display throughout, and the museum will also serve as a hub for interactive smart technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).
  • Based in Turkey A competition to design the building was won by Melike Altinisik Architects.  
  • Earlier the launch date of the museum was in the year 2023, but due to some reasons, it was shifted forward in the year 2024.

Florida, Dali Museum

The museum is dedicated to popular artist, Salvador Dali. He once said, “If I may die, though it’s unlikely, I hope the people in the café will say, Dali has died, though not entirely”. A technological rebirth has occurred at the Dalí Museum, where visitors can engage with the Spanish surrealist through the museum’s AI reimagining of Dalí in the modern era.

  • In collaboration with the advertising firm Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the project “Dalí Lives” employed more than 1,000 hours of machine learning to teach an AI algorithm to recognize features of Dali’s face, which were then imagined on an actor. 
  • A visitor’s experience with the reimagined Dalí is as unique as the artist himself thanks to the 125 interactive videos that have thousands of possible combinations.

The Oman Across Ages Museum, which opened recently close to the ancient city of Nizwa, uses state-of-the-art technology to transport visitors through the various dynasties and civilizations that shaped the nation.

  • The museum created replicas and site models using 3D printing, mapped archaeological sites using drones, and recreated ancient settlements using a combination of computer graphics and augmented reality.
  • The Al Alam Palace, one of the Sultan of Oman’s residences, is one of the famous structures in the nation that visitors can enter through virtual reality.
